I'm self-employed and need a £40,000 mortgage for a £75,000 flat. I earn £13,500 pa but have only been earning this much for just over a year. Before that I was earning around £6,500 pa.
Are there any lenders who would lend me the money based on only one year's tax assessment return?

Principality B/S are the only company i can think of that do mortgages for the self employed with 1 years accounts.
Im not sure whether your income would meet their minimum though, some lenders require £15k + as a minimum wage.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
