Hi all, I am in the second week in a new job. Probation lasts for 3 months. For a series of reasons, I am not sure that the job and the organisation are a good fit for me. If proper notice is not given according to the contract, the employer could (and may) sue for their loss. That loss would be the difference between what they would have paid in employing the OP and the cost of a replacement in the remaining notice period.
