Hsbc mortgage first time buyer

Hello.
I had my initial meeting with an advisor today. I have about 15% deposit and the mortgage would be about 500 a month against a salary of more than 2000.
I have no outstanding loans or credit cards but she said there was something on my credit report the system didn't like.
I have had a look and I have one missed credit card payment on a now closed account. it also shows two missed payments two years ago. I called the company and it confirmed it was due a direct debit I set up where the details were wrong, which was rectified and the additional paid off as soon as this was spotted.
The lady I spoke with as hsbc said my internal score was good and as long as I had no ccjs etc (which I don't) it *should* be okay. ESP as I have no outstanding debt, a good deposit and asking to borrow relatively small amount (83k)
Does have anyone have any experience of this and then getting approved or any thoughts?
Many many thanks

Thank you for taking time to reply, I realised after posting it was a bit like asking someone to answer a riddle... But thank you anyway!0
