I used to use QUIDCO, but stopped when I took out 2 lots of insurance and they didn't give the promised cashback. They said the company hadn't given it to them. Was happy till then and know lots of peeps still happily use. Maybe I was bit hasty?!?

how much did u used to make per month
  • I've found it most useful when it comes to insurance (home/car).. you'll usually get £40-£120 back. If you buy or book a lot of stuff online then it's certainly worth it. You'll also get decent money for signing up for sky/virgin/mobile phones networks.

There are some low value 'free money' items (e.g. sign up for a giffgaff SIM card and they'll give you £1 for nothing)

So far i've made £1032 over 6 years (£30 in fees)

I use Quidco - if ever I'm buying anything online, I go through them if possible. I have received over £750 to date, over a couple of years.

I will be doing all my tesco shopping online if that is anything to go by
  • It's worth doing if you are going to purchase items anyway but you may not get your money quickly. I have just had cashback confirmed on something I bought in December 2010!

you don't get a lot back for supermarket shopping - although sometimes you can get £5-10 for your first shop as a new customer. I belong to topcashback and quidco and use both, as sometimes the rates are different - quidco charge an annual fee of £5 out of your earnings though - topcashback don't

    Have made thousands off Quidco.

There's a number of threads about them on here. Perhaps you could get the info you're looking for from there, OP.

I don't trust quidco, but i do trust Topcashback. I only use Quidco now for very small amounts, or if i am using offers that can only be used once. If you buy something for a family member via quidco, and it does not track - Quidco will say you can only use if for yourself, and won't pay you - Topcashback will.

That said - none are what they used to be. I have now had 2 big amounts declined by topcashback - so i'm afarid the good times seem to have ended - due to companies knowing they cannot be forced to pay AND offering prices specially made for cashback members - knowing you are getting money back.

Tracking is hit and miss, some just never pay, some track at the right amount, and then days before payment is due turn to zero.

I've had many thousands of pounds back. But where as i used to calculate the saving for cashback when making a decision - i now only buy if its cheap without cashback - as some companies will do anyhting to wriggle out of it.
