    Wow! I took a job book keeping and the bank accounts had not been reconciled for a year, perhaps more. I started in on it to find that there was rarely any information on the paying in slips. Beyond that the place was 6 years of mess, draws filled with random receipts and files covered in cobwebs.
    So I rolled my sleeves up, cleaned the office thoroughly, ordered in some archive boxes for the old files and left her the number of a team of forensic accountants.
    I am good but not that good!

    Luckily I had not resigned from my old job and had trialed the new one in holiday time...
