I know 30 miles cost about £20 for the petrol. Maybe ask a neighbour to get up early and drive you to work as a favor? Just pay £40 to cover the journey cost lol.
I would pay for the taxi if I'm out of options. It's just one week. I'd cycle if it was 30 miles a day, but 60 miles a day for a whole week is too taxing for the body.
£20 for 30 miles? Don't be silly, it would cost about £7 each way depending on the car being driven but not £20 each way.
OP, get on eBay and look locally for a cheap banger that's got a little bit of mot on it, change your insurance over and when you've finished with it take it down the scrappy for most of your money back. Don't leave a job because you can't get there, find a way even if it means g testing a b&b near work during the week.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0 -
