I'd not bother if your nearest Thorntons is a franchise, I have had a few coupons there refused as they "Don't have the till to scan a barcode". This is after the coupon page has had me input a postcode to find my nearest store and located it as the franchise one. Oh, and Thorntons customer service is rubbish, they don't answer emails and then promise you things on phone calls that you never get.0

No problem for me at my nearest franchise( run by Hallmark Cards ) . I just handed over the voucher and walked out with an egg. They didnt even try to ring it through the till or scan the barcode on the voucher.
I would agree with other posters that it isnt worth going out of your way to pick one up , but if you are passing it seems rude to pass up the opportunity of free chocolate :j0
