Thanks for the replies. I had found a label but didn't realise there was one further in. Awaiting a reply from the self confessed Queen of Kipling to see if she can indeed identify what bag I have from a few simple questions!

Away to look at the 'block' ones now and hope I'm not tempted!

I love Kipling bags too and I blame this forum after looking at them after someone recently posted on here I'm sure I will have a collection before long I recently bought a Candy one off ebay its great as can we worn over body as a rucksack and carry with grab handles and although small fits a huge amount in.

I've got my eye on a Fairfax if they come cheap on Amazon. Off to look at the tangerine block ones now. I must resist but who as I trying to kidd

Well have ordered a peppery and the true blue one - works out £12 each - free returns with Amazon if I don't like them.

New Guard is in the Vintage range. It's a Lancelot in the USA & a very handy multi pocketed bag
