Today we did it!

Today we paid off the mortgage. Its been a. Nightmare over the last 22 yrs. sold a crap endowment and had to start again. After 12 years! We paid between 15%in the early years to 8% interest. Couple that with being sold a crap pension,I dont like the banks much.

Today we are able to stick it to The Man!

Thankyou all. As a Fella who has always been officially low paid this is a situation that can be achieved. Now the last 20 yrs of work (health permitting) can go towards retirement fund,as my job and finances do not provide for a pension.
