Over 70 looking for new mortgage deal.

Help... My mortgage deal is due to finish and I am having problems trying to find a new deal. It appears that I am too old! I have 6 years left on my present mortgage which I was hoping to transfer to a different lender.
Has anybody got any suggestions please.

    Mortgage outstanding
    Income details
    And debts or savings

    Also what kind of mortgage you have at the moment, and why you were looking to change lender.

    Ask your current lender for a "customer retention" product so you don't have to move elsewhere? This assumes you're "rate chasing" as you haven't told us why you need to remortgage...
