Has this been happening with anyone else? I write my MailRewards point down to keep track of them and I had a note of my total last Tuesday, then on Saturday I added Wed, Thurs and Friday and noted that my points had gone up by 30 as it should have. I logged onto my MailRewards account on Sunday and the number had gone back down by 30! I then added Saturday and Sunday numbers and this went up by 100 and 150. I sent the MailRewards team an email explaining this but haven't had a reply yet with it being a Bank holiday.

Tonight when I logged on again all those points were lost again (3 x 10, 100 and 150) plus another 10 points which now takes me back to my total for last Monday (19 May). All these points are showing as added when I check my statement to see how the points were collected.

Might be worth others checking this out just in case it's been happening with other people's account.

BANKED points only have a life span of 12 months

A number entered on 26 May LAST YEAR (2013) would have expired YESTERDAY

As a quick guide IF, that's IF, you enter a code EVERY DAY (without using any double or triple bonus codes) then you should start to worry when your total is approaching 15,000 and definitely start redeeming them when it 15,600.

If you have a RANDOM entry regime then it's difficult to know when they are about to expire from the total you have banked.

Thanks Quoia - That's possibly what's been happening. I had totally forgotten that they were only banked for one year. I used 11,500 for vouchera on 21 June last year leaving a balance of 1540. I wouldn't have thought that I would start losing any points until after 21 June. I am over 15,000 (15,160 but should actually be 15,450) now and was going to order vouchers last week but never got around to it so better get it done tomorrow night. I'll wait until I hear from the MailRewards team, hopefully on Tuesday, then get them cashed before I lose any more.

Hopefully this is a reminder to anyone else who is saving them for almost a year to start to exchange them before you lose any.

BUT on 21st June 2013 you ALREADY HAD 1540 in the bank.

Given 300 points for a full week (5 x 10 plus 100 + 150) then this 1540 must have been started to be entered (without any BONUS codes) at least 5 weeks (and 4 days) PRIOR to this date ...

.. which would mean they would probably start to expire 14th May 2014
