A cashier once said to me that a lot of people spend £5 just to get the paper - what do they expect when they set that spend in the first place and include the paper in it?

The scheme together with the free coffee has obviously increased their sales, it will be interesting to see if they hold up. I often popped in knowing I had only to spend £5 and get my paper, rarely did I only spend £5, I usually ended up spending more. However, knowing I have to spend £10 now will put me off from going so often and therefore my spend in there will probably decrease on balance.

I am interested to see if they have a stack of papers left when I go in on sunday.
