We all have cards in our house, hence why I sometimes have spare codes. When my daughter applied on line her card never came she had to post an application off.

You can get a temporary card in store.

I am afraid you are highly unlikely to receive a code by asking and not building up a reputation first. If you built up a little reputation and are honest you will be fine and people will start to give/trading codes with you. This is down to previous newbies taking the p... .
