I've had the same email too :( xx
  • Wasted 80p last Saturday - sent husband to buy DM for this, assuming it was a code printed in the paper. Found out tt was supposed to be a card in the mag but of course it was missing, and as I've never bought this before wasn't aware it was supposed to be in a plastic wrapper.

DM 'helpfully' have an 0844 (profit-making) phone number to call if this happens, but I didn't want to be even more out of pocket so emailed the address they give.

No response whatsover. Total waste of 80p on this rag.

I've also had 'THE' email, but looking at post #74, does it really mean anything????

I don't mind waiting, but it would have been useful in todays post for getting my son some half price trousers!

Saturday's mag (Weekend) was NOT supposed to be inside a plastic wrapper - ONLY Sunday's bits (since there are at least 3 extra sections) usually comes wrapped

Edit update - At least ours were not - got 3 copies and no bags in sight - codes present and worked ok.

Had to send hubby back this morning as he too came back without a magazine. When he returned, the magazine WAS inside a sealed plastic wrapper.

I forgot to buy the paper last Saturday, so have just entered my number (I had Sunday's & registered, so now have 2 numbers confirmed.) I've selected the Tesco's voucher & it's now just sitting in my account saying 'you are on track for this reward'. How do I actually claim it? Thanks.

You buy another 3 or 5 newspapers (starting tomorrow and continuing next weekend and the weekend after) until you have either 5 or 7 codes in total.

I think you need 7 for the £5 vouchers - only having 5 gives you the option of a "smaller" reward.

Until you redeem you can change your mind and re-"pre"select your choice of reward.

The £5 for just 2 codes WAS ONLY available for the 2 in LAST weekends editions and these had to be submitted by 23:59 on Wednesday.

Thanks, but I thought they gave you another chance, if you bought Sunday's paper & registered...on the right hand side of the rewards page it also reads...

    Don't forget,
If you registered the Unique Number from The Mail on Sunday last week (as your first entry), you can still claim your bonus Tesco voucher. Just register your Unique Number from this Saturday's Daily Mail.

I've done all this, but don't seem to be getting any options.
Maybe I'll just have to email them.

MIL buys the DM and her code was missing today. The number says it costs 10p per min. I called them and it took less than 3 minutes, so worth doing I reckon. You need to have the paper to hand, because they ask you a random question such as what is being advertised on page 50 - then they give you a code over the phone.
