Hi Ailey,
Glad your husband managed to get a MoS today and kudos to him for going the extra mile! This whole rewards thing can make your head hurt trying to keep track of codes and working out the best deal! I, too, am now considering a Gold Pizza Express voucher since Anna mentioned upthread that it could be worth £16.60! I'd just assumed that the two courses would be from a basic set menu, but if you can choose absolutely anything from the main menu, woo-hoo, yes please! Thanks for the warning about selecting rewards in plenty of time in case they substitute it with something else.[/QUOTE]
I did phone my nearest Pizza Express to check if the choices were limitted - before I ordered a voucher. They told me only Calabrese Pizzam and Antipasti were excluded (apparently these items are never included in the various offers). These items are also listed as exclusions on the back of the voucher I have just received - and also Piccolo Meals and Dolcetti are excluded (I'm not sure what they are though). Anyway, it does seem that most of the main menu is included so it looks like a good deal.
Also, they have a long validity - right up to 25 July 2012!ELITE 5:2

Excellent - thanks for the further information and the expiry date. We should have no problem in using the vouchers as we are in Edinburgh a few times a year. We don't have a local Pizza Express. :j"For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."0 -

The T&Cs on the Mail Reward website say:
'The two-course meal consists of your choice of main course and either a starter or dessert and cannot be used together with any other set menu or promotion.'
I'm not surprised the antipasti and Calabrese Pizzam aren't included because they never are in deals. However, the t&cs on the website suggest that it can be your choice of starter/desert and main course.
The most expensive starter is Calamari al Forno at £5.10 and the most expensive main course is Da Morire Romana at £11.50.

Piccolo menu is the kids' menu and the Dolcetti are the mini deserts which come with a coffee.¿Alguien ha visto a mi nave espacial?

Hi Tbw,
Thank you for confirming that we can tuck into almost anything on the menu! I usually have the Leggera pizzas with the salad in the middle but they're not the most expensive, so I'll have to choose something different to squeeze max value from the reward!
Good to know too that the voucher is valid until July 2012 - this is another example of a longer expiry date than currently stated on the rewards website (1st Dec 2011). The Mail should update their info as it may put people off saving for a particular reward if they think it has a short expiry date.
Buon appetito, everyone! :beer:0 -
