Does anyone know the order in which points are taken from your Bank account when you spend some in order to obtain a reward ?

It's just that under the "How you have earned your Mail Points" heading I have quite a few entries that do not expire until 2014 (Mar - Sept) that appear BEFORE all the ones that will start to expire in Oct 2013. This is because they appear in "Date Entered Bank" sequence with the earlier points (earned before 6 September 2012) having a 2 year validity.

Obviously I'd like to use them in the order that they expire in, earliest first, keeping the later 2014 ones for future use, perhaps against a high points item that appears just in time for Xmas or even early next year.

Anyone confirm it happens this way ?

Of course I don't want to just lose those that will expire during Oct to Dec 2013
But then again I don't really want to spend all the 2014 ones in order to redeem the 2013 expiring points, IF they are removed in "Date Entered Bank" sequence.

What's the experience here? Which get used? Which get left?

The terms and conditions do not explain how they use the voucher codes when you buy a product.

If I look at the 'bank statement' it seems to imply that it uses the oldest codes first so those that have a 2 year expiry as entered before September 2012 get used first.

I'm glad you have mentioned this as it got me to check as I have some expiring on 24/9 onwards and I don't think I will have enough to cash out for a £25 voucher so will have to bite the bullet and do 2 x £10 :(

Thanks for offer but took "other" route as I had the paper - just no numbers on any of the copies locally:mad:
