    Martin's forum, Martin's rules, it's quite simple.

Nothing to stop people sharing quiz answers but it's always at the discretion of the site owner.

If you were to set up your own then you'd be free to encourage the type of postings you describe if that was your wish.

What that would mean legally I do not know because after all the internet is not the wild west where laws don't apply!

    Fair point.

Anyone interested in quizileaks please PM me.
  • The interesting thing is that there are other threads running on this very site where quiz answers are regularly posted.

I guess it's the influence of the mighty Daily Mail which is ruffling the feathers of MSE.

    Let's have quizileaks.

When the Daily Mail are running their competitions for cottages and big prizes, I've seen daily answers posted on various websites.

Are they going to ban those as well?

Not doing their reputation much good.

Difference is millions are going to be entering those comps, very small chance of benefiting (winning a prize). I suppose they could use things like competition entry numbers to sell advertising space so that would be to their advantage. Where as code skulduggery results directly in financial gain to the detriment of DM.

I believe so. See posts #6361 & #6399 from MSE.

DM might not agree with spare codes being passed on but it seems from their own T&Cs (and MSE not removing those posts) that offering those is ok. However providing answers isn't. They are two different things and one involves no purchase of a paper!
