Say what you like about Murdoch, you can't fault the man's timing with his new launch and at 33% the price of The MoS as well. I'll have a look at the very first Sun on Sunday, but it won't be a replacement for the Mail on Sunday when I stop with the club; it all depends on the offers in question and whether I feel like a paper at the weekend. 50p is excellent impulse buy pricing, and if it creeps back up to the average £1 or so that the others cost, it'll take a while.

Bad mistake changing this scheme and risking the 2.2million Sunday circulation they built up since last summer and it's up in the air how many new members will replace those quitting on their next reward.
  • It was 4 saturday and 3 sunday £8.10 for a £5 tesco voucher.

Now you need to spend a minimum of £15 to get a reward, its good you dont need to buy 7 of 8 anymore. but unless the minimum reward is £10, then its not "more rewarding"

I got a half price voucher for daily mail for the next 6 weeks from whsmiths. they may still be giving them out with every sale

I'd have to be happy being tied down to the one store as well as the one newspaper, it depends whether I could get the papers from train platform Smiths as well as big branches. I already delayed the break I wanted to take once but the coupons are good for anyone else that's sticking with the points.

    For anyone that's interested ...

THE NEW REWARDS SITE IS UP AND RUNNING :j

    https://mailrewardsclub.mailonline.co.uk/WeekendClub/login

Incidentally I had 2 codes entered from last weekend and under the new scheme they are worth 900 points

I need 600 to reach the 1500 mark in order to bank & redeem them, which equates to 3 Saturdays (@100) and 2 Sundays (@150) ...

... so for the 1st "normal" reward in the new scheme I'm NO WORSE OFF.

And I'm aware that if you registered just 1 code by last weekend you will have 750 points on account.

Thanks quoia, I've just had a look and I've got 1400 points. I'm going to collect Co-op vouchers and use them towards my holiday.

Yes thanks from me too :) Looks like for a bigger reward you need 12 codes from 16 papers in the eight week slot, then they are banked at 1500, then you start again.

Think I will stick with the scheme as we buy the paper anyway and less stress around missing codes to worry about.

    Now to choose the reward!

I've probably missed it, but if you collect 1500 points in the first 6 weeks can you start again, or does it make you wait until the 8 weeks is up before you can start towards your next 1500 points?
