I was hacked off at the thought of missing out on the free code since I'd already bought the Mail and put in my code on Sat morning, but I've just checked my account and there are now two codes there for Sat 28th (and 9 boxes instead of the usual 8). Bonus!

after reading this i checked my account but i've only got the one code for Sat which i entered not an extra free one

Oh. I guess it's been a lucky glitch on my account then. I've checked again this morning and the extra Sat code is still there. I'd just assumed that the Mail had decided to give everyone a code regardless of the previous criteria because it was turning out to be too much hassle for them to sift through all the accounts. It would certainly have been fairer for everyone to get this extra code and I'm sorry to hear that's not the case.

Wonder if it depends on ...... any of ...

How many of the 8 you had already collected ...
When the last reward was redeemed and hence the current one started ...
If you had or have a missing code in the current set ...
Whether you had entered a genuine Saturday code BUT NOT a Sunday ...
When you entered the Saturday code (Sat or Sun or Mon)
or any other similar oddity ...

In my case I had entered BOTH a Saturday and Sunday code by Monday and everything looks just as it always had.
My Dad's account has the FREE Saturday code, he actually did get a Saturday code from the paper but hadn't entered it - went to do it yesterday evening and turned out there was no need.
I've tried entering the genuine Saturday as well (on top of/alongside the other) and it says "You have already entered a number for this day."

BOTH mine and my dad's started the previous weekend on Sunday 22 Jan so only had 1 code prior to this weekend - now has 3..
My sister is one week behind us and when she went to enter her code yesterday the FREE one was already there as the 1st in the latest 8.

It will be interesting to see when you'll get the CONGRATULATIONS !! You've won a reward message ......

... at the usual 7 or only after you've reached EIGHT perhaps ?

I have just been into my accounts to enter my codes and on one I had the message before you can enter anymore codes you need to request your reward, which I did and now the next codes to enter is next weeks. The 2nd account is showing as only Sunday's code needed. I'm not complaining, just wish I knew earlier so I didn't have to buy the paper:cool:
