    We got caught out on the Tesco gift card issue too. They send out a notice on email now as far as I am aware that it will be 3 months after ordering.

    After a long think I did realise that loading money onto the card their end counts on as a "use" and so 3 months from last use (ie when you order) is correct on that basis.
