silver wedding celebration help

Its our silver wedding nect month.
I wanted to celebrate with a party but OH not keen to have it in a function room as we not sure how many people will turn up.

We now think we may have a 'drop in/open house ' party at home - i.e invite people from late afternoon onwards. This will be good for our friends who have children and maynot want to stay late into the evening.
I want the day to be special so wondered if you could help with themes or ideas for the day?

  • If it's warm enough why not have a BBQ. To tie it into your wedding tie in all the napkins and plates etc with you original colour schemw from your wedding.
