Hi,
I currently own a property through a mortgage from first direct.
I am currently at 62% LTV
In the next few months I will be getting married and due to the nature of future husbands work we will be relocating
He will not be changing jobs (just locations) but I will need to change employers
When we move we would like to sell my property and buy one together at the new location
Will me changing employer have a large impact on the feasibility of doing this as we would rather not go into rented for 6 months
Also we would need to get a mortgage on both incomes as I earn around 70% of our joint salary so only using his income would mean we wouldn't be able to get the type of property we want
Thanks
Kate

You need to establish yourself in a new employment position first.
Personally I would rent and learn about a new area before buying.0 -
I once managed to move into a new flat as a first time buyer with a 100% mortgage less than 7 weeks after re-locating and starting a new job, and only 6 weeks after first considering the idea of buying. But that was a long time ago.0
