Hi there,
I have had it waived twice before, but in totally different circumstances once with Halifax and once with Nationwide.
Are you absolutely sure the Estate Agents or vendors are not telling porkies?
I think there is scope to speak to the lenders involved, especially if the vendor is porting a mortgage elsewhere in the country to validate the claims.
Is there no way completion cannot be set to dovetail with the 6 months or are you miles off?
Chances of pulling this together are slim to be completely honest, rest assured the Estate Agents will do there best to keep the chain together to ensure they are paid...

As you trust your agent, I am confident they will make this happen...
Its close enough to be manageable I would think, although will depend on the lender ultimately. I would be more confident of some lenders showing common sense than others..
Poor show that no-one has mentioned this before now, as it is pretty much industry standard now so any mortgage brokers, solicitors and estate agents should have flagged..

Fingers crossed....
A good estate agent will be all over this, but dependent upon your buyers situation they still have options..- They could buy yours on bridging finance and could exchange on there's with a completion date after 6 months. Expensive but achievable.
- Depending on their loan to value, they could raise funds as a let to buy and use this on your property and then rent theirs out
Do let us know - fingers crossed for you...I am a Mortgage Broker

OP why have you edited all your posts? It makes the thread completely unintelligible and prevents someone else learning from the question you asked.0

You cannot delete an opening post - it must remain to keep the thread in place. The art of asking a question is to stick to the point of principle, giving enough information to allow someone to answer, but leave out names of people and companies, locations and exact amounts of money as far as possible.because i dont know how to delete my post !! and thought it best too as i have not sold yet and dont want to offend my buyers... you never know who is reading theses ..
