Quick question on extra bank holiday

Is this considered to be part of the statutory min of 28 days or is it extra one, ie 29 for this year?

What does your contract say? It can be included in the 28 days so it depends on the wording.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

It's a PUBLIC holiday, not a bank holiday. Unless your contract allows "x days annual leave plus all bank and public holidays" then it will be covered by the 28 day statutory minimum (ie you have 1 less days holiday to choose for yourself).Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.

Wow not had one of these posts for a while! OP I would suggest you use the search bar because this question has been asked many many times before.The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
