Hi all,
this is mainly a reminder for myself and maybe helpful for others to see how I am saving.
I am a single mother to my little boy and want to provide a better future for him and myself. I have different things I want to save for and set up targets for myself.
I want to save 15000 for a house deposit by November 2015 (my son will be five and this is tad extreme for me to save but aiming to try)
I want to save £5000 for his savings account (I have set amount I am putting aside each month into his account as well and want him to have £25000 by time he is 25 - so he has enough to travel or whatever he wants)
I put £20 a week aside and hopefully by summer we can have a we holiday somewhere or if not can travel to my aunts in Lancaster and put the money in split savings.
I currently use different ways to save - Onepoll, Opinion World, Ebay, Superpoints (only recently joined), Pureprofile, Valuedopinions, Carboot Sales (paid for his passport
), woohoo bingo (recently joined) and I think that is it right now. I also put money aside from my earnings and the two months I do not pay council tax I put that money into savings too.
I work part time and my hours are good that I only pay for my son to be in nursery half days (private though but thankfully government helps - hopefully council nursery will have an opening soon!) I just want to make my son proud and see that I want to make better for myself and him. The reason I say 2015 is he will be 5 and in school and then I can work FT. I want him to see his mum work
Anyway I want this litttle post to maybe help one two people to see other ways to save or even help me with my plans.
I am even a little sad that I use excell for all my spendings/savings and planning schedule.
Happy savings xxx

globaltestmarket seems to be quite good, they pay out $50 when you reach 1000 points and it doesn't take too long to reach usually

how do you join superpoints, and is it a good website?0 -
