I agree I think the timing has something to do with it as well. Any one else agree. Have just had this confirmed. See my post in Compers Inn.

I dont see anything that confirms theres any timing to it??? Just enter, they pick randomly...if you're going to will you will win regardless of what code you enter or what time you enter it! (so long as its in the hour, obviously)0 -
The t&c said it was a random prize draw didn't they? I looked when it started to check it wasn't one of those things where you have to be the closest to a specific time or something.
I have to admit the LEM are getting depressing, but I don't think entering at different times will make any difference.0 -
No I would say it is totally random as I had entered at all different times and then hadnt entered for 2 days then got my WEM in a first draw the next day.July 2013 wins: Lilac Skoot, Night out for 2 at Nandos & Cineworld
Best wins so far: £500, GHD styler, Tassimo T40 Machine0 -
i dont want to be rude to anyone but it does sadden me when i see people who enter comps expecting to win and thinking they are not winning because of unfair draws
i have stopped entering on facebook as after winners are announced the first comments said are 'o i see there are no male winners' or 'oh no scottish winner' and on the kingmills tombola i entered every day and never won a thing (there were so many people complaining it was an unfair comp) but thats the luck of the draw the reason why there was no male winner or scottish winner or i never won is simple my name never came out the hat
like with this pepsi comp every time you enter you have a 1 in how ever many people entered that draw chance of winning weather you enter it every hour or once a day you only have the odds of that hours draw of winning
i hope this makes sense i really do think it is not the case of a pepsi employee sitting there every hour looking for names they like or searching for a worthy winner there are strict comditions and laws on competitions we saw this with the GMTV competitions when winners were picked early not giving every entrant the same odds of winning i dont think companies want to be publicly humilated by running unfair comps to conclude i enter the lottery every week and would love to win but i dont expect to and i can only ever dream of winning the jackpot even tho one day i might!!2012 wins- FB Clean Campaign eyebrow kit, Heinz ketchup Indian Spices, 4x rocky road squares, magners eye-pads, £500 from pepsi, 3x green&black cooking choc bars

I completely agree, Wushyboo. I was thinking something similar myself.
It can be disheartening not winning, but if you are convincing yourself that you would have won a random draw if you entered at x time you'll just end up feeling lowsy and still be no closer to winning.
Try and enjoy the competition and not worry too much. For me this competition gave me a chance to interact with other people also entering & let me daydream about what I would spend the money on (and in actual reality my OH's winning will not be the TV or towards a holiday as I'd envisioned but savings.. boo!).
I'm sending you all some luck. Have fun, enjoy a nice lazy Saturday & don't worry if you don't win - there's still over a month to go & plenty more comps out in the wild.
Best 2021 wins: 48 bottles of cider, £200 John Lewis Vouchers, £100 Currys vouchers0 -
I still have faith! got to be in it to win it!!0

agree with lemonsocks and wushyboo (lovely monickers btw)
if you are meant to win it you will.
last year I won £250 one from ummm same company I think
and I do recall someone winning it 3 times and a few 2 time winners. I was over the moon to win it once and pretty much stopped entering after (personal choice and not a rant at anyone)
and if I don't win this then so be it if I do then fab I have a plan for the money. but that plan will just happen later when I have saved if I don't win
I really want to win The Times one to win a Ipad because I so want one but eventually with time (my birthday possibly) I shall get an Ipad. would be better to win but we cant win them all.:rotfl:
keep trying and best of luck to you all63 mortgage payments to go.
