Fantastic win, a few questions though

  • Luck of the draw isn't it. I am so so ftsutrated about coming on here & seeing people moan that they don't win, others win more, newbies win etc, its down to pure LUCK nothing else. I guess the more you enter, the more you stand to win, but thats about it.

Congrats on your win - I won a years subscription to Sky HD a couple of years ago and if the process is still the same, Sky have a list of winners and once you receive your confirmation from the promoter, you call them up to arrange installation. For me it was quite simple as I was already a customer and they just upgraded everything.

like how?? And i did start of with well done.
Many members who havent won for over a year and its like what are we doing wrong (i dont mean me, only been going a month, im happy so far no big wins but some small stuff, and lots of fun, and ive helped to get many rules changed with regards to auto entry companys, which will help everyone hopefully)

fgs will you stop with all the conspiracy theories - everyone was 'a newbie' once, some people comp without registering then register when they have something worth posting - like a big win!

They may have caught the end of the WOTV comp - it only takes one entry to win!

I could sit and enter every comp going and not win, my sister could enter just one and win it - luck & averages - win & lose. Yes there are those who cheat there always will be throughout comps & life in general, but
if it really distresses you so much you need to find a new hobby.

Good luck to all compers & many congrats on the OP's win!
    xx

Well done - I think its really down to luck. I am not really that lucky been comping since 2006 still waiting for a big one I think my biggest prize has been a weekend to London with meals.

I keep hoping for a nice family holiday problem is they are usually NOT in the school holidays.

Maybe it's the lack of SHARING that's the problem ;)

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to congratulate the OP - well done! Love it when someone wins a biggie :)
    Thanks to all posters :A

What a shame, when someone posts a happy thread about a win, for it to be spoilt by self-centred, avaricious people.

Why not just be happy for the OP? Comping is a fun hobby as far as I'm concerned, and any wins are purely a bonus.

I'm sorry.:o That will teach me to speed read. I didn't mean that you found it suspicious.:o

R.E. winning. I do know what you mean, but some people are just incredibly lucky. I always see comping as fun. I don't expect to win anything, but if I do, then that's a bonus.:) I have won some big things, but I have won way more smaller things. Just remember that all the small things you're winning may be because a bigger win is earmarked for you (meaning you as in in general) in the future. ;)
