Halogen Ovens

Apologies if there is already a thread re this but I am thinking of buying a halogen oven and have just been checking them out on A**zon. I would love some of your expert advice before I part with my hard earned cash.

There's only the two of us and although I do try to make sure the oven is full whenever I use it sometime my OH uses it just to heat up a pasty or pie as he doesn't like the way the microwave affects the pastry. Can you cook a full meal in them ? Although the advertising bumf gives the capacity in litres that doesn't really mean anything to me as I still tend to do things in old money

Any pros or cons would be greatly appreciated.
