AK ignoring CCJ

Back in 2006 I received a CCJ for an amount under £1000. This has been dealt with and will come off my Credit Files in April 2012.

However, AK have been regularly sending this debt for collection (it would appear they think they have no knowledge of the CCJ as they have placed the same default on my CFs.) So hence 2 entries for the same debt!!

However, I have answered every single DCA they have 'set' on me with the information confirming the settled CCJ, so one would presume that they would pass the information received back to AK, but no, they just keep on sending more rubbish about what they are going to do to me if I do not pay!!

I realise I have yet another angle, apart from Settled once it 'falls of' in April so, in theory it is SB. (I know a CCJ is never SB until it is paid).

What i want to know is have I a complaint/case for compensation for this harrassment from AK, or should I just let it go. In fighting mode today, but may relapse into couldn't care less soon!

You need to give us more detailed information to help you / do you mean you have paid / or are you hoping after six years you wil not have to pay / you need to post again with proper clear details start at the begining .

CCJ is marked paid/settled as of 2006 and will 'drop of' in April. I do realise that had this not been paid it is, 'still around forever'.

In the period since 2006 the first couple of years' were problem free, then AK wrote and said CL Finance had sold them the debt etc. Immediately replied with copy of CCJ/receipt of payment. Quiet again, then from about mid 2010 AJ have been passing it around every few months, I reply as above, and the relevant DCAs return it to AK who then farm it out elsewhere. Equifax and Experian refulse to remove the debt. I believe they are all clinging to the fact that the Judgement amount was 966 ish and they are taking a figure of 940 from AK (I believe this may be because the Court Fee had not been added) and they refuse to believe it is one and the same debt.

I am totally and absolutely sure this IS one and the same debt. but even if I was unsure, they have the exact same default date.

The next time you get a demand for payment send a letter recorded delivery to AK enclosing a copy of the letter from the DCA / statE I HAVE TODAY RECIEVED THIS LETTER FROM XXXXX who say they are working on your behalf i will not reply to them unless you tell me they are in fact working on your behalf / send recorded delivery download proof of delivery including who signed from Royal Mail website , keep this safe keep copies of everything / when AK reply you then have the start of a paper trail they will hang themselves .pm me i will then tell you what to do next / I have used this method several times with my own problems and got a great result / it does notb pay to give too much away on an open forum as AK regularily monitor this site .
