Reclaiming Bank Charges

I wonder if anyone is feeling silly and angry like me.I wrote to the halifax to claim back my charges and was offered a settlement of half,we accepted because my husband was being laid off,now i wish id have took the halifax for the whole lot,they got away with 2and a half grand because we were desperate before christmas.Does anyone know if i can still claim the rest seeing as ive accepted a settlement?

    I don't think you can change your mind now. When I agreed a settlement figure with Capital One I had to sign a form to say that I had accepted the amount. Why don't you pop along to the Reclaiming Bank Charges thread and see if anyone there can help you. Their a knowledgable bunch.

    I don't know, I have heard of people accepting half and writing to say they will still be claiming the rest.
