Hi,
Not sure whether or not this is the right spot for this but here goes!..
I have almost a full bag of bean sprouts left over from when I made some spring rolls. Has anyone any recipes or ideas how to use them up - I dont want to chuck them as it would be a waste of money!
Thanks!

Beansprouts are lovely in salads and add a nice crunch to sandwiches.
Or you could use them with some chicken or beef to make a quick stir fry or as a vegetable accompaniment stir fried on their own or with some other veg with some soy sauce and a little sherry added for flavour.

Stir fry sounds like a good option, I didnt want to make something that I thought would be okay and for it to go funny with the wrong ingredients or cooked the wrong way - Im not exactly Delia when it comes to cooking!Weight Loss - 102lb0

My DS loves to have beansprouts mixed with cooked chicken breast, chopped tomatoes and some mayo, served in pitta bread.0

I do a very quick and easy salad with beansprouts, matchsticks of carrots, some shredded cooked beef (great for left over roast) and a vinaigrette with some chilli flakes added. DH loves it.

I made beef chow mein. I used mange tout, beef, bean sprouts, noodles, oyster sauce and mushrooms. It was delish, but the more I look at the ingredients, the more expensive it looks! I obviously had most of the stuff in the house, because it didn't seem so dear.

Add them to a cheese toastie -yummy
Add them to tuna and mayonnaise sandwiches, or any sandwiches.
I frequently use home grown beansprouts in salads with some toasted sunflower seeds for added crunch.0
