self cert for overseas??

Afternoon,

I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to do a self cert mortgage for an overseas property ?? (Tenerife) and if so can anyone point me in the right direction,

Note - this isn't a recommendation, I thought they were quite expensive on fees [though to be fair overseas mortgages tend to be!] when we looked a few years ago. They are however a long established broker for mortgages abroad.

You might also try the growing number of UK lenders who will lend in Spain - LTSB, RBS, Abbey, Norwich & Peterboro to name but a few.

As for self-cert, I'm not sure - suggest an enquiry with the broker and maybe 1 or more lenders.
