Best way to transport baking?

Can I ask the posters who have bought cake carriers from Pound shops....... what size are they? I got a couple of 10" cake boards today as I am making 9" cakes and they definitely won't fit in a Roses size tin, so need to think again.
Just checked the one I got (£1.99): 13" x 5" - pretty much identical to the one below:
I did get a huge tupper*ware style tub like the one below for DM (her Christmas cake was too high for the carrier above) which had a similar sized lid but was higher overall - it was only £3 and she puts the cake on the lid and closes the lid over the top.

Don't tempt me woman!!!!
RFTA Thanks for the info about the carriers. Where did you get the first one please?
Looks perfect for my needs.
As for the regs side of things. I am now on hold as the owner hadn't really considered all the rules as far as I was concerned anyway. the other people supplying her have already got certification as they have baking from home businesses .
I will be contacting the local council tomorrow to see what is required in my town, and will decide if it is cost-effective for me as I will be making so little money from it.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

That was the one I got from Dis*count UK http://discountuk.com/ - hope you have one near you.
I've seen them somewhere else too for a similar price - trying to think of the shops I'm likely to have gone to ...... might have been Home Bar*gains. HTHGrocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Thanks. No discount whatever near us.... well, 10 miles away, so not practical for me to go to, but I will have a look in B&M and Family Bargains.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Sorry but I had a wee chuckle ..... the nearest one to me is just under 30 miles away!:o
I was there anyway (next door to Home Bar*gains) so it wasn't just a trip for the cake box tho':)
Hope you find one that suits.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Don't know if you're still looking for potentially useful carriers but I spotted one that might interest you in the Lidl newsletter for next week (starts mon 7th May).
If you look at their website http://www.lidl.co.uk under Summer Essentials there's a 'large food carrier' that looks very useful.
Hope the baking is going well
