Free Easter Eggs!

Hi,

i won the Easter selector,its a small box of chocolate cream eggs.got 8 chocolates in.

I picked up my Easter H-box today whilst my boyfriend had a Egg Selector. The H-box is of a decent size and will make a lovely present - the Egg selector is for us to enjoy this evening! It's a pity so many people have chosen to abuse the system but I'm thrilled I managed to get some something nice

Just got mine The Happy Egg with a face and tongue sticking out :rotfl: and a Tiddy pot with 8 small chocolates of Bunny and Chick saving until Easter,hours journey on the bus and worth all that effort going to get it,really delighted.

The worry is that they decide the offer was too abused and stop people using their vouchers. I will be very surprised if the person who wins the Ostrich egg voucher from ebay actually gets to claim it, it depends if Hotel Chocolat decide it was a successful promotion maybe. They will have gained possibly thousands of new emails for their newsletters, just unfortunate most of them will be fakes! If I was them I would try and get ebay to take the vouchers down.

But hduk get on this stuff scarily quickly, working out the best methods and such. I followed the thread last night and some members were just winning things over and over and gifting them to other members.

TBH, you would think a big company like Hotel Chocolat would be able to prevent this the same as other companies can on Facebook, to allow users to just input any old email and backspace as they did allowed it to be open to abuse!

Hubby and I went in to HC to collect our prizes, a egglet basket(£6.50)(chose the pink champagne) and easter selector worth (£8) the staff were really lovely, no hassles whatsoever, I feel ashamed of those people, who could not stop at atleast one prize per person(they always have to spoil it for everyone else, we are really thrilled with the prizes we got and because we needed to go into town anyway it wasnt an unnecessary trip, so really pleased.

I got the Egg sandwich and daughter got the Extra thick egg...
But if those that got as much as they could then I dont think its their fault.. HOtel Chocolat should have programmed it so that u can only get 1 prize per person.. it is possible, and the fault should be with their IT department and not those that did get more.. Maybe Hotel Chocolat should ask the IT people for the money back!!
