Can I join this thread and post up my 0's?
I presume its the daily kg of CO that people are posting up? Is that right?
Cheers
Welcome to the Loony thread; People post their daily generation figures, not kg of CO. Look below at my signature and you will see how this is worked out....2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0 -
I see we have a gap in our data again
How can you be exporting more than I'm generating
Bloody lousy here! Right under this big belt of rain: http://www.westonweather.co.uk/radar.php
Yes my export is good even though I am using a oil filled rad that gobbles over 1kW until the thermostat shuts it off....Managed to get my base rate result down, following update of Wattson firmware.....

Aww thankyou, I thought it couldnt be as simple as just the amount of carbon:(
I am embarrassedly too dense to understand the definition of O's in your signature though, so I guess I wont be able to post:o
I guess as long as I make enough in FiT and £savings in imported electricity to pay for my system before I croak, then I shall still be a happy bunny
May the sun shine on us all!
Cheers

Hi and welcome to our madhouse,
Might be better if you flick back through some posts, in particular have a look at Oscargrouch's signature for the definition of an "O"
Thanks, I have read a lot of the posts on this thread but 243 pages of them is beyond!;)
Ah yes Oscargrouch has kindly posted too
Regards

Hi Sleepy, just divide your total generation for the day by your system size. ie, if you generate 10kWh and your system is 4kWp then 10/4=2.5 O's2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0

See Leggo's panels managed to push out 32kW for a brief moment in time WOW!!!!:eek::eek::rotfl:2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

Ahhh, I see. Thanks Tunnel
My system specs says "Total Installed Capacity 4Kw Declared Net Capacity 3.98Kw Capacity"
Should I use 4 or 3.98 for my calculation then?
Yesterday my kWh was 6.120 for example, so my Os would be 1.53 then?
Gee, I need to move somewhere sunnier!!:A Goddess :A0 -

Congrats on joining the PV owners club.
Where in this lovely country are your panels installed?
Which way are they facing?
Not sure if you are aware, when they get dirty you can turn them over and use the otherside!
It also helps to even out the wear on them!
Ps: I hope its a long time before you qualify for the dreaded Spoon!3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
Bet they are facing upwards....:rotfl:2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
