I can recommend a really good final salary pension scheme :j Though of course you would have had to start planning for that 40 years ago

If I start tomorrow, I still have no chance....:D
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

    Phew! I'm safe! 1.37 Osez (5.38kWh)

Another good day for the SW then, as I got most of an O (0.9857).

The WNW did well, it was boosted by poor morning (so more reflection) then sunny afternoon to hit it's high so far in 2015 of 2.5kWh or 1.25 Os.

Some Sun on Sunday (quite fitting) but 2 grey days to get through first.

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 5.58 kWp PV systems (3.58 ESE & 2.0 WNW). Two A2A units for cleaner heating.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

Inverter did not stick did it??:rotfl:..:D

It's never done that. Fronius seem to have got their logging and reporting spot on :p

Rain washing down the PV at the moment. Doesn't bode well for generation, but my rainwater tanks were just about empty, so double edged sword :D

I see GEO have the new Solo PV II out which can report in realtime to online site (I have original Solo PV which doesn't), is their service a bit flaky?

I suspect they have a server issue at the moment.

I've had the Chorus II for 20 months & to be fair there's just one 48 hour hole in the data. It's also virtually 100% accurate for generation & import which I like. The only real downside is a software glitch that means it records solar use as export at low generation levels. There's little chance of them resolving that issue as the Chorus has now been replaced with the Solo III. That does look like a nice piece of kit. It's very expensive & because it's inline with the meter tails, it needs an electrician for installation.

GEO have offered me full value of the Chorus against the Solo III but I'm not sure I'll really benefit that much.

My neighbour was asking me about my Solar Panels this morning and I said that somedays I did not get much sun on them. So he says why don't you move them to the front of the house, you might get more sun from that direction! smiley-laughing025.gif

I'm calling it now as it's so dark I just aswell!

    0.87 O's (3.4 kWh)

On a positive note my rain water tanks are about half full now (1500L collected today) and it's still falling. Liquid gold :)

    0.56 O's today.

As long as Groovyf submits a reading I should be safe from the spoon.:)

(I work in Halifax & it's been pitch black all day.....he'll be lucky to have generated a Watt let alone an O):rotfl:

I could be line for my first spoon. I may have a few Watt hours to collect, but so far 0.45 Os. Even this has been achieved mainly between 15:00 to 16:00.
