Hiya, going back some, for a 4kWp system the holy grail was a 30kWh day. Very tough, needs a long sunny day, probably late June, but of course with the heat comes a decline in wattage. My best days by far were last July, when everything went nuts, I got 775kWh against a target of 592kWh, so some 4kWp'ers may have hit the magic '30'.

3.64kW is a good sustained figure for 4kWp, as it's around 90%, but is your inverter capped at 3.68kW? If so, then you're probably right and you won't see better, but I'm sure you won't be crying about it.
    Mart.

My inverter is a 3.5kW one (the additional expense of going for a 4kWh only to cap it at 3.68kW didn't seem logical). Especially when my system is only 3.924kWp so will rarely be falling in to the range where the more powerful inverter would make a difference, and the less powerful one should be more efficient at lower powers.

My SolarEdge system has reported up to 3.71kW as a peak figure. It reports figures being passed through as AC, though I'm sure that wasn't sustained for any great length of time.

19.58kWh for me so far but later in the afternoon my South East facing with afternoon shading system drops off, so I would be pleased to get between 21 and 22, and I may not even get that. Will still be my best day though!

Hi Jimmyboy, My ESE 1.96kWp system had an exceptional day last year, generating 15kWh. On that reckoning if the elements are right then you should be able to notch the elusive 30kWh, more so on a SE system.
    2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)

I was hoping with a very fair "wind" I might pick up 35ish with the extra hours in the summer at some point but the extra heat may kill it. Yes inverter is 3.6 and capped at 3.68. I reckon a totally clear day around this time of year and 30 might be on the cards though. Yesterday had plenty of troughs in it

I promise I won't be a bore and keep posting about this but I got in from work today and generation was 25.7kwh for the day.

Apparently it was full on sun most of the day.

8.72kw diverted into the iboost and meter had only ticked up a few kwh.

Missus had a couple of baths/lots of hot water usage for cleaning and washing machine/tumble dryer on for a few loads.

That is one hell of a result.

30kwh can't be too far away.

Glad I haven't got monitoring software - I really would become boring!

Whatever it is, it's probably jackieblack's - she (sorry if you're a he!) gets consistently excellent results for the size of system and I'm jealous. I managed a 5-O today, 10.77 kWh.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

My best ever day was 7.2 Os but that was a very sunny day that was also cold. I've not seen much beyond that. Routinely able to get around 6.8 - 6.9 Os over the summer.

In kWh that's 21.6kWh and routinely 20kWh with our 3kWp system.
