Roll on the summer days, when I am going to bed before my panels:rotfl:
No chance in our house, wife tries to soak up every last Watt, wouldn't want to waste any now:rotfl:
Only glanced at my ESE generation last couple of days and that system alone has passed my tunnel test;) Suns out now and for a change the wife has the washer and dryer on....again2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0 -

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV system)
As Oscargrouch would say:rotfl:
edit...Just seen Kevin G's post16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.0 -

I find the national videos to be pretty accurate and the 'display of shadow' sequencing throughout the day especially useful. The regional videos are often updated too late, or not at all at weekends.Damn it, the video was right and I got absolutely drenched on way home:rotfl:
Worse still, when I got home at 3.15pm it was raining that hard that both my inverters had shut down early for the day:eek:. I didn't even dare look at the generation:mad:
Of course it's the dark clouds that shut your inverter down; I've observed 3kW+ in rainbow-inducing rainfall before.
TBF I think forecasts in the 'olden days' were so vague that our perception of them was distorted. We've really been spoilt by the accuracy of modern forecasting. All goes to confirm my theory that all forecasts are computer generated by patching in random sentences from the olden days when they had real forecasters
Questions like that are likely to produce more disharmony on this threadI'm new to this, what's an O.

5.5kWh for me today, that's 1.375 O's.
Great news too, I've been given permission from the DNO to join the 4+ club.:j2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0 -

Don't think there has ever been any disharmony on this thread; only healthy banter. :A :rotfl:
