Well, I'm feeling grateful for my 'generation' today - the boiler has packed up, so I'm back to immersion until I can get it replaced.

Really. We had a power cut from 9am to 2pm. Apparently my boiler is dead. I'm waiting for some one to come and look at it. I have a mate, who does boiler work. He said he will come some time tonight. hope he comes soon.

So many jokes (innuendo) so little time. Put the puns down Mart, and step away!

Generation here not bad last couple of days, 2.76 & 2.11 O's respectively.

But, heating got switched on yesterday, NNNOOOoooooo! Boiler hasn't packed up, so I can't join in, but I did boil a packet (of rice), does that count?

    Mart.

Better news, my mate came last night at about 10. He assumed the controller got destroyed. Power was going to the boiler. It was late at night he was rushing couldn't sort the problem.

He returned this morning, did tests. It was the controller. Bought a new one for £85. He replaced it. All up and running now. Wonder I can get money back from electricity board. Power cut destroyed the controler.

Any had power cut till 1.50 when it was but brighter. When power came on it was dull. It only generated

    0.11 O's yesterday

Today looks dull. .. not much hope

Ha! power cut knocked out the heating controller at my local Community Centre. Quote for replacement - £6,446. Have they got the money? No. You got off lightly!

Your generation hasn't changed much: but worth a try with your Energy Provider; don't hold your breath though, we may not hear from you again.....smiley-laughing021.gif

Could be the same guy trying to re-coup his loss on Shafeeq's repair; or more likely a more complicated controller. Time for some cold showers me thinks.......coffee.gif
