We have had over 29 kwh on a couple of days since we installed in late 2011....29.234 on 07/08/2012, and 29.163 on 14/07/2013. Overall, we are exceeding the expected annual total, so well pleased.

Now reached 93.5% of July's pvgis forecast. Another couple of 20+ days and we'll pass it. But it doesn't look as though today will be one of those days - it's been pretty overcast so far.

Stayed overcast most of day - altho a few (unforecast) sunny intervals peaking @1.9kW. Day's generation was 9.5kWh - just about enough to keep baseload free but nothing left over for running appliances. Mind you, we're well up to date with washing clothes & dishes so would have been scratching for something to use it up.

2.91 O's yesterday. Thick cloud, hardly any sun, with slight showers...not enough to wet the bottom of my water butts tho:D
    More of the same today:(

  • Absolutely stunning yesterday but forgot to check the generation reading prior to leaving for work. If it's not at least 23-25kWh I won't be happy :D

Still 10 days of generation to go this month, bloody amazing!

Only 4.24% over PVGIS for July todate: 13.0 O's in the bag over the the last three days, retiring today; at a respectable 3.6 O's for the day....... smiley-laughing021.gif

Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

Another very poor day today - just 4.2kWh

Month to date has crept up to 96.5% of pvgis estimate for whole of July. That leaves 16kWh to go which was less than one day's output a few days ago but would need 4 more days like today. But even that will leave me 6 'bonus days'.

Re-PVGIS. Is everyone quoting Classic or Climate?

As most of you are aware i have the old type of electric meter(analogue/spinning wheel) Only one installer has mentioned that this could case a problem with incorrect readings he said that the meter would over estimate which would not bother me as i would tell my supplier the problem if that don`t respond that my good fortune.

However after reading through this thread and others it could be a case where during solar panel production the meter is affected and the meter reading is increased resulting in a higher bill! (Which pretty much defeats the object of fitting solar panels in the first place.)

Is there a list of the make and model of the meters this affects?
