Started well in the morning, but the cloud rolled in just before midday along with some rain later in the afternoon.
3.54 O's3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds6 -
Messy weather, 4.24 O's followed by 2.64 Os yesterday, and month end projection at 109%.
But I did notice yesterday that my 2012 WNW 2kWp system appears to have broken even on cost spent v's FIT/export received. Originally I thought it would take 20yrs, so 13yrs is fine. Install only beat the FiT rate reduction, and term reduction from 25yr to 20yr by 3 days. High inflation and subsequent index linking made quite a difference
Of course, 2025 £'s aren't worth the same as 2012 £'s, but my calcs don't include any leccy import savings to hopefully balance this out.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.7 -
