Just 0.43 Os today. Tomorrow maybe slightly better and Sunday looks good.PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)5

0.37 O's today making 33.1 O's or 293 kWh's for the month. Taking us 19.6% beyond pvgis and 5th out of our seven January's to date. With only one year, '21, being marginally below pvgis then January has been a very good month here otherwise,

Jan ended much the same as it started. Disappointing! but overall it was my 5th best out of 12.
40.63 O's or 161.52 kWh 133.3 % of PVGIS

0.51 O's for the last day of January, taking the total to 99% of PVGIS compared to 122% and 123% for the last two years.Installation is now 3 years old and has just exceeded 18MWh against a PVGIS estimate of 17.982MWh, so pretty close!

January results.
Poor month with 56% of target. Big spread, with 54% for the ESE/SSW and 69% for the WNW.
Generated 111.5kWh (12.78 O's).
Imported 1084kWh.
Exported 15kWh.
Total consumption 1181kWh.
Gas was ~100kWh. [DHW & oven.]
Consumption reasonable(ish). BEV charging was mostly cheap rate, but some PV creeping. GCH is still off, and fingers crossed, will remain so.
Poor Jan but good reasons.
I'm using A2A units for heating, mostly run off cheap rate import. My batts are DC side, so the import winds the TGM backwards. So when I use that leccy the meter winds forward, but less due to battery losses. This is only an issue for months with battery charging from the grid. Will impact Feb less, thanks to higher PV gen, and hopefully very small for Mch.
Scaffolding with large platform around the chimney finally came down, but late Jan.
Looks like this Jan is about 600kWh* of leccy higher than usual, but no GCH, so gas about 1,150kWh* lower. Leccy bill actually lower than last year, since almost all import was cheap rate (about 20kWh day rate).
*My cheap rate leccy is ~7p/kWh whilst gas is ~6.5p/kWh. So allowing for boiler efficiency, I'd suggest gas and leccy are the same cost for resistive heating, and of course leccy cheaper for all A2A heating thanks to the COP. So looks like I'm replacing roughly 3 units of gas with one unit of leccy, given that this year was a bit colder.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Not a great January, 18% below PVGIS and sixth worst out of 14.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.3
