Same as yesterday 0.06. Think the inverter probably used more power than the panels generated

Worst year (since 2011 install) by miles.Officer_Dibble said:Is everyone else heading for way below PVGIS forecasts this year, or should I take it personally? We seem to have had thick cloud overhead for 3/4 of the year. Looking like less than 3300kWh instead of the target 4560 (which we nearly made last year, despite it not being the best). Is it just down to the gloom, or should I get the solar surgeons out to see if they can find a problem?Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

It will just beat 2013 but it's the worst year apart from that, including years when I had scaffolding and inverter failures to contend with.Officer_Dibble said:Is everyone else heading for way below PVGIS forecasts this year, or should I take it personally? Don't laugh, but I've had loads of inverter issues this year, with upgrades and changes. And scaffolding up for the last month, around our chimney, and over our panels too.KevinG said:

2024 turning into a bit of a 'Carry On', farce

But I still love it, only moaning playfully (ish).Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Another 0.12 Os.
At that value it could be a data blip rather than actual generation 😄😄😄PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)5 -

Not sure if I'm worse than everyone else, or on par.
Month end projection is 69%, but if I apply a correction for the battery losses impact on my TGM, I think it would be around 80%.
Currently charging batts about 10kWh to 15kWh each night, so probably knocking 1 to 2 kWh's off my readings, not really sure.
Ironically, poorer gen, means more import/charging, and more system losses, so a viscous circle (edit - or even a vicious circle (talk about thick (viscous pun intended))), but some months will be a virtuous circle I'm sure, so can't complain, you can't have everything (where would you put it? Steven Wright joke).Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
