Finally joined the solar club, on the 5th of November. Finally got my export MPAN, this week, but inevitably the sun has been hiding its light under several bushels. Earned the princely sum of 0.99p on Wednesday.

Produced 38kWh before the export MPAN and self consumed as much as I could. The new heat pump helped out with that.

It's a good time to get an export MPAN. Not missing out on much export this time of year. 😀
PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)

That was the way I was looking at it. However, although the actual sign up for Octopus Outgoing took exactly a week, I could have been signed up about two weeks earlier, had I known the MCS certificate and DNO letter were available two days after installation. I'd received notifications on Building Regs and HEIS/NAPIT warranties, so just assumed the solar bits would follow along.. It seems the installer had them but had neglected to forward them to me. Of course, those two weeks were the sunniest we've had in (what seems like) living memory!

Anyway, next week looks good, if the panels survive tonight's Red Wind Warning.
