Finally built up the courage to update my spreadsheet for Nov. Had to do it with one eye closed, whilst hiding behind the sofa.
Ouch, projecting 50% for Nov.
Not only was generation for the first fortnight terrible, but it meant I had to charge far more from the cheap rate at night. But with DC batts, that meant winding the meter backwards, and of course charging losses (perhaps 10-15%), before winding forwards. So a double whammy for Nov.
And for a week now we have a large scaffolding platform around the chimney as neighbours want to install a woodburner. Not great for E/W panels to the north of the chimney/scaffolding. One panel 'scored' 27Wh yesterday.
I'm considering hibernation and writing off 2024.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
