    Wow,
Reading all your inputs on here is very interesting. Still not quite grasped what the hell your all talking about most of the time but you all seem pretty happy. Hope to become a nerd myself like most of you eventually, if I can get to grips with it:D

    Another cracking day.

    24.9 kWh (£12.07)

76.6 kWh over last 3 days.

Been sunbathing most of the day, getting as crispy as the panels.

That's about 10 days on the trot init....sunbathing....don't lie on the panels if they're black, you'll be lost forever(and lose some generation) You don't by any chance live in your own mini climate cos your generation (excuse the pun) puts everyone else in the shade.

I "only" managed 14kWh(3.5 O's) today but did do 22kWh yesterday.

    2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)

Well, when the Sun is shining.....:D

Not sure about beating everyone else, I'm sure in previous times I was having a miserable time compared to the majority.

Have had 3 cracking days, and a lot of days recently beating my previous years 'day best'.

I wasn't happy in March, miserable month :o

I would advise getting a home monitor, it will help you work out what you are generating/when is a good time to use the free electricity ie. dishwasher/washing machine/kettle! etc.

It's great fun and you'll soon get a good idea of how to maximise.

Good luck, and have fun :)

Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

    We generated 14.09 kWh's today. 5.82 O's

Oscar, we do not have the shading issues at all in the summer as the sun is higher and so directly over our roof. The rainforest is at the very bottom of our long garden. You just wait until the wind speeds pick up, you will be running about everywhere with the help of Shafeeq looking for your dustbin lid!!!
