120% June PVGIS, 100% YTD PVGIS despite system install date being 25 Jan.
Output this month would have been higher if the panels hadn't been covered in dust and one with guano from the crow that kindly perches on the tv aerial until it rained on 18th.0 -
June results.
Great month with 113% of target. Medium spread, with 109% for the ESE and 120% for the WNW.
Generated 737kWh (132.08 O's).
Imported 107kWh.
Exported 409kWh.
Total consumption 435kWh.
Gas was ~88kWh. [DHW & oven.]
Consumption still down to a more reasonable level (including BEV charging). Gen now high enough to allow almost all PV charging for the BEVs. A2A units used quite a lot for cooling, maybe two weeks of the month.
Just a small(ish) batt of 4-5kWh, probably would have reduced import to zero(ish), but batts still some time away as the market is so messy.
Third best June generation, just beaten by 2014 and 2018.
Year end projection of ~6,500kWh of leccy consumption, including BEV's and some space heating from A2A units. Gas projection ~6,000kWh.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.4 -
Well that was a pretty impressive month. 28% above PVGIS, my best June ever and my best quarter ever. Second best month after May 2020, which was a ridiculous 43% over PVGIS.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.3

2.55 O's for the last day of June. 105% of PVGIS. Still very slightly behind PVGIS for the year due to a poor March/April.Imported 83 kWh (£18), exported 803 kWh (£193) and consumed 155 kWh. Good month for Flux tariff.Gas usage of 151 kWh (approx £6.21 excl. standing charge). Average 4.1p/kWh.6.4kWp (16 * 400Wp REC Alpha) facing ESE + 5kW Huawei inverter + 10kWh Huawei battery. Only 4.1 O’s today in the Midlands, SE facing array + optimisers due to partial shading from a shabby conifer that I haven’t yet worked out how to sabotage…6.2kWp SE Facing on-roof array (16 x 385W JA Solar) with Tigo optimisers | 5kW SunSynk Hybrid inverter | 10.2kWh of battery storage2
