Gen so far projects 100% for end of month, but the weather forecast for the week ahead strongly disagrees.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Is it just me or has anyone else notice very high levels of PV today - not total kWh but kW? I thought it might be cloud edge effect but whenever I look at the smart meter the export seems really high compared to usual when the sun is actually shining. It is 9C and intermittent sunshine so perhaps the panels are staying cool. I don’t think it’s just my system playing up as when I put my 330w stand alone panel out at 9.30 am it was generating 322watts. Normally it would be about 280/290.Northern Lincolnshire. 7.8 kWp system, (4.2 kw west facing panels , 3.6 kw east facing), Solis inverters, Solar IBoost water heater, Mitsubishi SRK35ZS-S and SRK20ZS-S Wall Mounted Inverter Heat Pumps, ex Nissan Leaf owner)1

But MetOffice shows total cloud right now and I'm in full sun so taking all that with a large pinch of salt.JKenH said:Is it just me or has anyone else notice very high levels of PV today - not total kWh but kW?
