A less than expected 1.17 O's yesterday. Frost on panels until 12 interfering with production.

  • A not-too-shabby 2.23 O's yesterday for me. Makes for a pleasant change.

2nd best day of the month. Slow start due to some early cloud. Quickly moved away but todays peak was lower than yesterday.
Passed my lowest January (2016) total of 92.95 kWh early on. Ended the day on 102.1 kWh which is still less than 50% of my best January (2022)

    3.02 O's

20 kWh to pass PVGIS and 48 kWh to pass my January average.

Currently projecting 108% for Jan, but only a bit of sun forecast for the next couple of days, then a grey week ahead.

But today was nice as the WNW system was generating about 500W at 2pm. Might not seem like much, but with the ~400W from the larger ESE array, we were still covering the A2A unit.

Obviously WNW isn't a great orientation, but always nice when it comes out of hibernation, which is roughly the two months straddling the winter solstice.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

    Another reasonable day at 1.9

The last 4 days have enabled me to catch up to PVGIS for this time of the month, need another couple of good days to build up a buffer and I might end Jan around the target of 91kWh
