A totally respectable 2.69 Os today (9.2kWh from 3.42kWp). Bright sunshine all day and the frost was clear by 9am. Most of it went into an oil filled electric radiator to save on the gas bill.
Ever thought of installing an Air2Air heat pump and getting 4 x the heat.

A good day here too, 1.87 O's today which covered domestic consumption and topped up batteries for this evening.

Yes, it's absolutely on the list. I'm probably looking for a multi-split system to cover 2 rooms. Would need to have dehumidification too. It's a little hard to figure out what would be best or how to get it installed for a decent price.

Have a quick look at this thread, where the idea started to be pondered in 2013. maybe a read of the first few pages, then some later comments.

Also, multi-splits seem to cost more than two units, and add complexity (needing a dedicated circuit). One of my 3.5kW units is currently blasting away with a 25C target, and the room door wide open.

    Discussion ... ASHP(Air/Air) with Solar pv ....

Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

Posted this elsewhere with no response so here goes.
    iboost problem.
Now that we have a little sun i have noticed a small issue with my iboost and buddy.
Steady sunshine yesterday and today and noticed that my iboost was sending more to hot water than i was actually producing according to the iboost and my Geo solar display.
Have checked this morning that the Geo display matches the generation meter which means its the iboost which is wrong.
Right now i am generating 1550w and the iboost is saying its sending 1800w to hot water with 100w left over.
There seems to be a 400w over reading by the iboost, had this 7 years and its always been good but seems to send more to hot water than i produce.
    Any ideas?
Have emailed Marlec with no response.
